Ski-region Sternrodt - Alpine

The local ski resort is located on the northern slopes of the Langenberg (843m) between 600-800m of altitude. There are two t-bars, each having a transport capacity of around 1000 people per hour. A separate beginners slope with a banana lift offers accessible skiing for all. Off the groomed piste there is the possibility to toboggan. The main lifts take you along for 1000m, allowing a descent of 1300m. There are groomed trails starting at the top of the lift taking cross-country skiers as far as Willingen and Winterberg / Niedersfeld. The runs are just as well suited for advanced skiers as for beginners.

The skiing season in our area begins on the 23.12.2011 and ends, according to weather conditions, on the 25.02.2012.
