The cross-country skiing centre "Pastorenwiese" is located halfway between Wunderthausen and Hallenberg at 700m altitude in the middle of one of the most beautiful and densely wooded regions in the Sauerland: the Rothaar mountains and the Wittgensteiner Land. Cross-country trails at the highest altitudes south of the main ridge of the Rothaar mountains, towns, spa- and holiday villages like Bad Berleburg, Siegen, Winterberg, Hallenberg, Frankenberg, and Marburg are less than an hour away, making the "Pastorenwiese" easily accessible for both locals and holiday guests. The skiing season in our area begins on the 10.12.2011 and ends, according to weather conditions, on the 31.03.2012.
